<VV> MANIFOLD REPAIRS ? MY broken bolt removal methods

BEST way is replace with clarks repros  (even upgrade to 140's?)  ...but 
otherwise i use acetylene cutting torch  , get brave, heat the  broken bolt 
until red , then a quick toot of oxy will almost always blow the  bolt out 
clean. takes practice. if you are not up to it, and the ears otherwise  look 
good , take them to someone who knows how to run a torch. it should  take 
about 5 minutes per broken stud to blow them out.  
my old method was to cut a slot in the broken part , heat  the ear  very 
red , then wind it out with a screwdriver (not your best one!). that works  
fair. these methods have saved many manifolds , transmissions , and even a  
corvair WB block here over the years. i started trying things like this  when 
all else failed. works great!
