Bob: I don't think this is a problem. The ES12a (hydrocarbon gas) has a 
higher
ignition temp than both R12 or R134a, and is non-toxic. Also, it requires 
lower
pressure on the A/C components and less horsepower from the engine to run 
the
compressor.

As I said, I ran it without problems in my other car, and I like the idea 
that
it's non-corrosive when contacting moisture...Bill

Isn't Envorosafe propane based?

And wouldn't that be highly dangerous to use around spark ignition engines?

And wouldn't it be unsafe to use in Corvairs?
