there are conditions with carbs that will cause what you describe.   check 
the nuts that hold the carbs to the heads , try readjusting the idle  
mixture screws, maybe even removing those and putting air pressure to  them. 
otherwise i would suggest rebuilding / cleaning carbs.
please consider purchasing the CORSA tech guide.it is a good help to even  
"experts? like myself....
