Thanks Matt.  I'm sure I can get a set of longer screws.  What kinds of nutes are NyLocs?  Nylon?

If my crancase oil is diluted, looks like I'm in for another oil change...Bill

Today, I noticed tiny puffs of something (like smoke, but not wet like gasoline)
putt-putting out of the side of the pump between the cover and body of the unit.

Anyone with advice, much appreciated!

Bill, sadly that's normally Excessive blowby...  sometimes caused by a leaking fuel pump...into the crankcase...diluted oil..

Longer screws with NyLoc nuts always take care of external gas leakage.
