Tire wear of 9/32" on a 25" diameter tire is about 2.2% of the 
circumference or 60 rpm at 3,000 rpm engine speed.  The torque converter 
slip (the inverse of efficiency) is listed at 8%.  I find the slip of 
the torque converter pushing an UltraVan is 400 rpm @ 60 mph (3,450 rpm).
