Was a "crate motor" a complete engine including all needed necessary parts? I highly doubt this option was ever a dealer installed option based on all the things that made it different. It would have to include different sheet metal, exhaust components, carburetors and linkages/fuel lines, ignition distributor, air cleaner, etc. etc. And don't forget the emblem that goes on the deck lid!
