<VV> Dome light switches

When I was seventeen, a good many years back, I bought a 1961 Ford
Anglia. This had a whopping great 997 cc engine; and although it had an
interior, (as we say here), or dome light, it was purely manual. No door
operated switches.

However, a friend had an Anglia Super, which came with the truly awesome
1200 cc engine. That had door-operated switches for the dome light. On
inspection, I found that Ford had installed everything necessary on my
own car, including running the wiring loom down to where the switch
would have been had I got the car with the monster engine. They just
didn't put in the two little switches. They cost me 1/-, (one
shilling), each, and voila. 30 seconds of work on each side, and I had a
luxury dome light.
