another important part to save when parting out....all decent hardware. i  
have sorted many pounds and put it in drawers , then there are the large  
unsorted large drawers (nightmares) to do someday.  but the come in handy  all 
of the time , along with the bench mounted wire wheels of fine and course. 
i  spend many hours cleaning correct hardware for my work.  i even watch 
bolt  head marks and match them up if at all possible.
another important bench tool for cleaning flat surfaces is a bench mounted  
belt sander. then the high speed die grinder with wire wheels of all kinds 
come  into play.
a lot of "replacement" hardware stands out at shows , like slotted shroud  
screws , instead of the 5/16 heads ...for example. i don't even like them 
under  the car , where most would never be seen..
