That is NOT what the financial report says. It says "Hosting" "Hosting" does NOT include the additional work Bryan is doing. If you are paying $900 for "hosting" yearly, you're paying to much. If you're paying $900 yearly and Bryan is doing something to maintain, monitor, and administrate, etc.. that's an entirely different thing. However a hosting service, such as those mentioned do the maintenance on the servers as part of the service.
Lon, I just downloaded your entire website to my computer. Tomorrow I will upload a duplicate to MY web server. I will then also be hosting the entire thing, at NO additional cost to me. It will just be a part of my web site, on the server or "hosting" service I pay for, that has unlimited server space, for $66 a year. If you are paying $102 monthly for just HOSTING you're paying too much. If that figure includes building/maintaining the web site, that is different. But $102 monthly for hosting is far too much. I'm paying 66$ a YEAR. Look at my web site and see how it compares to yours. But again, if that includes more than hosting, it's a different kettle of fish.
Why would we need a dedicated server, and not a shared server? Everything that is happening on the CORSA site would work just fine on a shared server at a substantial savings. The CORSA site will NEVER grow to the size where a dedicated server is necessary, and with most services providing unlimited space, it's almost never necessary. Hosting means :
"In order to publish a website online, you need a Web host. The Web host stores all the pages of your website and makes them available to computers connected to the Internet. The domain name, such as "sony.com," is actually linked to an IP address that points to a specific computer. When somebody enters your domain name into their browser's address field, the IP address is located and Web site is loaded from your Web host.
A Web host can have anywhere from one to several thousand computers that run Web hosting software, such as Apache, OS X Server, or Windows Server. Most websites you see on the Web are accessed from a "shared host," which is a single computer that can host several hundred Web sites. Larger websites often use a "dedicated host," which is a single machine that hosts only one website. Sites with extremely high amounts of traffic, such as apple.com or microsoft.com, use several computers to host one site.
If you want to publish your own website, you'll need to sign up for a "Web hosting service." Finding a good Web host shouldn't be too hard, since their are thousands available. Just make sure the Web host you choose offers good technical support and ensures little or no downtime. You'll usually have to pay a monthly fee that varies depending on how much disk space and bandwidth your site will use. So it's a good idea to estimate how big your site will be and how much traffic you expect before signing up for a Web hosting service."
This is an older definition of the service, as I mentioned, many now offer unlimited space. Not all, but many. or the limit is so huge you'd never really reach it unless you're Youtube, or eBay, or Yahoo (all of whom would have dedicated servers). CORSA is hardly going to see the server load of Microsoft or Apple.
If we're not "getting it" it's because the information is not being offered. "Hosting" means Hosting. If Bryan is providing additional services which apparently he is, then I'm sure it's of value to us. But $900 for hosting for a year is nuts.

So, let's evaluate the quotes:
www.simplehost.com says dedicated server hosting starts at $225/mo.
www.fatcow.com does not list dedicated server hosting in its list of
services (or I missed it).
GoDaddy.com dedicated hosting is $63/mo.
Talk about biting the hand that feeds you...
