later gm cars have a small single terminal that mounts with a screw to  
frame. it is very sturdy. i used one on my 64 coupe for extra wiring i needed. 
i  doubt it will ever fail. it is resin or bakelite of some sort , red 
color.  single post of 10/32 or so.
i like having a voltmeter in my spyder dashes.   i would like oil  pressure 
, but not sure yet how i would place a sender that i am comfortable  with 
not failing. MAYBE a high pressure flex shielded hose to body / frame to a  
fitting block with sender.
