<VV> 1966 colors (generic 'Chevy green')

Right - my (possibly incorrect) assumption was that it was painted by Chevy 
(dealer damaged ?) and it was a correct color since it was so new.

Then painted a generic "Chevy color" similar to putting generic oil in the 
engines (oil is oil, right ?) or generic tire pressures (not to start that 
thread up again !)

Have to wonder why, unless he bought it off the lot (i.e. didn't order the 
color he wanted) and painted it to his liking ?

Ya never know ;>}) !
