<VV> Secret Vin

The car is not useless and it can be registered and TITLED . Here in Colorado, they would require a bond to be posted while they put this vehicle on some nationwide (worldwide?) list and see if anyone comes forth. The state would issue you a new vin and then brand "salvage" on the car so long as nothing shows up during their investigation that you pay to have performed. My '65 Monza Convert. (I've owned it since '85 and is in my name in California though has not been currently registered in 23 years) has a drilled hole thru the vin plate, done by someone previous to me owning the car, and the state of CO wants to "salvage" the car. I said "no thanks" and now I have a car that will require some thoughts on what I will do with it.
