<VV> Venolia Pistons

I just got my hands on a set of unused Venolia pop-up pistons wrapped in 1972 newspaper!  The inside inof on the box listed them as standard bore annd 12.5 CR.  Anybody have any experience or info on thes.  Obviously not for a street engine.
