Smitty, youse is absolutly right!  And it is the first time I have heard channel locks described as a 'stretchy 9/16'  Good description :-))

Smitty Says;  Not Ken.  He has one of those stretchy 9/16 that will fit any 
bolt on the car.  (Smile).  As a matter of fact I have heard that he takes 
off alternator pulley nuts with the same wrench.  He uses it on ball joint 
nuts and tie rod end nuts and to tighten the nuts on the ignition coil 
wires.too.
