<VV> Whick exhaust system?

I have to replace at least the muffler and tailpipe on my truck. My question
is should I go with headers or stick with the original logs? I realize this
is probably mostly a matter of preference but I would like to hear the pros
and cons from you guys who have been there.

Do you have a working GASOLINE heater?   


Is heat important? 


Is it a 140- 4 carb?   


If you answered YES to the 1st 3.... then headers are fine


Anything else...a large tube 1-5/8"-1/3/4"  single exhaust system  with 2-1/2  muffler  will give you all you have!
