Well, we left on Thursday and arrived home on Sunday evening. There was a
short side trip on the way up to Cornucopia, WI ("Corny" to the locals)
through Muskego, WI. Our daughter lives there and she had suffered a broken
collar bone when hit by a car the prior Friday. We had not had a chance to
see her after that incident.

Anyway, the weather was beautiful - cool mornings and warm afternoons. The
trees were in full color and the car ran well. The most major problem with
the car was a squeaky door hinge on the driver side - repaired quickly with
a shot of WD40. The accommodations were great - our balcony overlooked
Siskiwit Bay on Lake Superior.

Drive statistics - round trip:
1333.2 miles, 59.684 gallons of gas (almost $200 worth), for an average MPG
of 22.34. Now bad when considering that about half of the miles were at
something in the 70ish MPH range. Oh, comments on the car - lost count, but
around 30 and ALL positive in nature.

I found out about Chuck today and am currently speechless on that. Will
have a response once I've had a chance to digest that news.
