Friday morning early I drove my '63 to the Hershey Swap Meet and Car Show.
My second year, first time visiting the swap meet area though. AMAZING!
Actually found a guy selling a pair of bare 140 heads for $275 (didn't buy
them). Funny thing was as I was driving into the parking lot, I didn't get
nearly the number of looks as I do during my typical daily-drive in this
car. I guess everyone attending had the attitude of, "Another old car - big
deal." A surprise was that mine was the oldest car I saw on the ground in
the parking lot Friday. There was an older Porsche, but it was on a trailer.
Shared a hotel room with my car buddy Friday night, then back early the next
morning for the show. I counted at least six Corvairs on the field - all
beautiful. Talked with a guy who'd recently purchased a '60 award winner to
go with his gorgeous LM 'vert. Don't worry, it didn't have slots so no need
to get excited.

After the show, I swung by Millersville to pick up my college daughter
before making the drive back to Baltimore. Put almost 300 miles on the car
and got about 22 mpg doing 65-75 mph most of the way.

You can see half the pictures I took at www.tinyurl/hrshy10A. Will post the
other half this evening. Also, I put some pictures on
