<VV> Front suspension swap?

Hi Don,

You can do several things - I looked into options earlier this year for our wagon and got most of the details you need:

 - The crossmembers are dimensionally the same (I have an early and late sitting next to each other). The differences between them are whether they have provisions for a sway bar, and the lates have slotted holes for adjusting camber on the lower control arms (earlies use shims on the upper control arms). I believe you could just swap the spindles and brakes, the ball joints are the same for all year cars.
 - The track is wider overall for a late front suspension, mostly due to the bigger brakes. You might put some stock late wheels on it and do some measuring to see what will fit.

Sounds like a neat project, let us know how it turns out.

I am building a 64 that will run a sbc in the back seat I have truck axles in the rear and will what matching rims in front ( 5 lug ). Thanks.
