<VV> Front suspension swap?

Hello all
I believe this subject has been touched on but I need ask again, can a later suspension pan be swapped into an early? Or can I just swap out the upper and lower A-arms and spindle. I am building a 64 that will run a sbc in the back seat I have truck axles in the rear and will what matching rims in front ( 5 lug ). Thanks.
