Well, you're right about the carbon there, for sure ...

I'm attributing that to messing with carbs lately and driving 2 dozen trips 
of a few hundred feet each time, and idling in the driveway for long 
periods, tuning the carbs ?

I'm hoping a nice long drive some day in the not-too-far-distant future will 
clean them right up ;>} !!!!

First, I'll be happy just getting "off the compound" !

At least I might have the right heads, but the "shiny" head bolts and 
assortment of rocker nuts has me somewhat concerned, but not worried ?
