I sent a message to Larry Shapiro last evening inquiring about the 
information in the subject thread, and before I went to bed I told him 
to call me at Steele if he knew anything about this.

I spent about 20 minutes with Larry on the phone this morning. Larry was 
very forthcoming about the history of the business he sold to Marco and 
George, as well as his current business.   I was taking notes while we 
talked.

In fairness to Larry, who has been a friend of mine for many years, I am 
going to summarize my notes and send them to him in the form of a post 
for him to review before I send it to the list.  In this way what you 
read in the post has been seen by Larry and he approves of its content

I believe that the post I send to VV will answer the questions that need 
answering.  There won't be any name calling or bashing of anyone by name 
or association to Larry and/or his businesses.

At this point Larry requests that VV'ers or Corvair Center members do 
not contact him by phone or e-mail regarding the status or state of his 
business.

Hope to get this done sometime today.  Larry called me @ 0630 Pacific 
and said he'd been up all night, so once I send the post to him for 
review I don't know when he will get back to me on it.  Once he does I 
will forward the information to the list.

For now, there's a good reason why nobody has ever heard of RN Corvair 
Parts. I thought it might have something to do with Rafee, but that's 
not the case.
