<VV> RN Corvair Parts----LS Corvair Parts --------------- DUH!!

As with anything else, $500,000 should be considered an asking price. I'm
sure there is a complete inventory list and the business financial
statements will justify the price. IF RN Auto Parts is in reality LS Corvair
Parts, then I will be the first to heap deserving recognition on Larry
Shapiro on his business acumen in parlaying his business successes to get
him where he is, especially now, in the face of the country's current
economic difficulties. Larry has succeeded where Marco Padilla and George
Phinos, after buying Larry's Corvair Parts, failed.

Only Larry could start a new Corvair business and in only a few short years
turn it into a goldmine commanding a price of $500,000 which is a damn sight
more than what he sold Larry's Corvair Parts for only a few years ago. I
know because I made an unsuccessful bid to buy Larry's remaining half
interest in Larry's Corvair Parts. Instead Larry sold to George Phinos who
paid Larry a full cash offer. (I certainly couldn't compete with that!)

I still dream of having a successful Corvair business. So naturally, I was
curious when someone told me about the RN Auto Parts listing on Craig's
List. Even IF RN Auto Parts is LS Corvair Parts, I'm still curiously
interested. But in order to play with the big boys, I'd have to put together
a consortium in order to perform a due diligence investigation. If anyone is
interested in offering their support, please contact me off VV at
rodneyspooner at corvairgarage.com.

After all, if Larry can't sell LS Corvair Parts, what's the alternative?
What if he closed it and scraped the all of the parts? One less Corvair
parts vendor. :(

I still have one burning question though...How can RN Auto Parts (aka LS
Corvair Parts?) claim to have been established in 1972?

Vairy truly yours,
Rodney Spooner

Hank sez: "I doubt seriously anyone reading this board has the bucks,
ambition, determination, etc to buy Larry out."

You should have said, "Stupidity". Why anyone would want to pay $500K
for a business based on selling stuff to the Corvair-frugal crowd is
beyond me!
