Just a note to people working in engines that have been apart, or 
assembling engines from a pile of mixed parts,

The rod numbers should be up (visible with the top cover/blower bearing 
mount off) EXCEPT when using a piston/rod assembly on the opposite 
even/odd side. i.e. using a #3 piston rod assembly in a #2  hole. The 
notch on the piston takes precedence. The piston notches (holes, etc) 
point forward to the front of the car always.

Seen many wrong number rods in holes.
