<VV> FW: Blower Relay - humor

To say nothing about the voltage drop with the notoriously wimpy wiring
between the dash and blower motor. A relay mounted in the back with
properly sized wiring guarantees longevity and best possible performance.
Has anybody mentioned the momentary starting current which is several times
the running current?

I think the point of all this is the fan switch is 40+ years old; the
contacts ARE oxidized; they can't carry the current they were 'designed'
for; new ones are getting hard to obtain and WILL be oxidized from non
use(air oxidation), so a little load off the switch via a relay is a good
idea. That's all...

Spoken like an engineer. As a technician, I know the most expensive hardest
to replace component always protects the fuse.
