The oil bath air cleaner was part of the '65-6 "desert air cleaner" option,
but was also a separate option on virtually every model and engine
combination, including FC's and turbos. Some oil bath and "standard" air
cleaner parts used with the "desert air cleaner" package were different
from other oil bath parts, which makes them even rarer.

For sake of information, the "desert air cleaner" package consisted of not
only the oil bath, but also a shrouding that closed off the standard cowl
air intake for the engine, and directed all the air into the fan below the
"turkey roaster" top shroud, in a similar manner as the '65 a/c cars had
for the condensor core. Just what the engineers were trying to accomplish
is a mystery to this day.
