My father was a career Marine, who served in a combat roll in  Vietnam, He 
died prematurely due to his service to our country,  he was a member of the 
VFW, the Marine corps league, etc. To trivialize his  sacrifice by comparing 
his espirit de corps  to corsa membership  is an insult to his memory, 
Corsa is a car club, nothing more. no  corsa member I know of has to personally 
sacrifice in such  measure  to be a member. 
 I have been a member of my local club for a long time. (Corsa  S.C.)  I am 
currently vice president. I am not a corsa member. ( I  have been in the 
past) My reasons for not being a member are my own. Our local  club takes care 
of its members. We have several honorary members, who thru  various reasons 
are no longer active, but as a group, we value their  friendship,and keep 
them involved thru sending them our newsletter.Just because  you do not know 
what we are doing is no cause to Guess we, or any other  club would not be 
doing the right thing by our FRIENDS WHO HAPPEN TO BE IN OUR  CORVAIR CLUB if 
our club decides to pay for someones dues, it is our  decision,plain and 
simple.It is not for you to decide our motvies
