Ed,

     This may come accross more harsh than it is, but calling Hank out like 
that was ridiculous.  I'm formerly Army, my brother is a former Marine, my 
father is a WWII veteran, and your post was totally uncalled for.

     I don't think Hank said anything that derided the patriotism of Marines 
or any other military volunteer in any way, he simply made a comparison that 
he thought would help make his point.  Sure it wasn't an ideal reference, 
but certainly not offensive.

     In fact, (and maybe I'm way off here.. text can be very misleading) 
your post came accross as not only a totally unfounded attack on another 
member, but a bit of bragadosio on your part.  I salute your father, but 
strongly disapprove of YOUR behaviour.
