<VV> Strater again and again and

On my sons '66 we have replace 4 starters in the last 2 years, we have even 
replace the fly wheel twice and a whole new clutch assembly, thinking that might 
be part of the problem.
 Well another started has went out!. 
This trul have me puzzled, have never went through so many starters on a Corvair 
before
Any one have a good ideas?
