Rodney: Happy birthday Ralphie. And thank you.

Nader: Thank you.but why are YOU thanking ME? Aren't you one of those crazy
Corvair lovers? Aren't you MAD at ME because I published my book that killed
the Corvair?

Rodney: Not at all, and don't delude yourself. I actually wanted to THANK
YOU for giving US.4 more years of Corvairs. Why did you write those pack of
lies about the Corvair anyway?

Nader: Well, I was a young attorney trying to make a name for myself.
Besides, Ford helped with information and financing.

Rodney: Well that's all good for YOU, but if YOU had done your own homework,
you would have realized that your facts were flawed. The Corvair NEVER had
any inherently unsafe handling problems. Why I'll bet you didn't even see
the Corvair video.

Nader: No.

Rodney: The Corvair always had one of the lowest centers of gravity thereby
making it one of the best handling cars back in the day. And 1965 model
handled even better with its redesigned independent suspension. I don't mean
to brag, but it could out corner the Vette. But heck, any car can be rolled
over if the conditions are right. Too bad you didn't see the Corvair video.
Then you would of seen what they had to do in order to get it to roll over.
And even after they did that, thanks to the uni-body construction, the doors
opened and closed and they started it up and drove it away.

Nader: Really?

Rodney: Really. They also drove one off road, through mud, and up a stream a
number of miles without any mishap. Corvair also have a great racing
heritage.

Nader: Really? Sounds like a safe car at any speed.

Rodney: What did you think of the 2 independent National Highway
Transportation and Safety Administration reports that exonerated the Corvair
from all of your claims?

Nader: The what?

Rodney: I thought so. Well thanks just the same. I've got to be going.

Nader: Uh, I need to get to an important meeting and I don't drive. Can I
get a ride?

Rodney: Sure...you can ride in my Corvair or perhaps you'd rather can get a
ride in that fellow's Pinto over there...
