<VV> Parking Brake Cable question - too short ?

It wouldn't. But it will be easier to install if you finish the job under the car than trying to finish it under the dash. And I believe you are getting pretty good at this job.Did you compare the lengths of the 2 cables? I know the original had broke but you still ought to be able to compare the 2 lengths.
