My DVM has a digital thermometer built in, with a lead to detect the heat, but is not "laser." Is the laser version better, and what the best way to use either of these ? Does the laser version require "line of sight" and where is a good place to measure it (without getting heat from the exhaust pipes) ? Thanks Charlie
