i am very glad to see more of the historic value Corvairs and things ending
 up in museums.
kudos to those who can afford the time and cash to help do this hard
,important to our future, job!.
someday i hope to see more CORVAIR stuff of all kinds in a very safe ,
central location , along with a library of information and displays.
if you get the chance , you can see what i mean at the Saratoga museum ,
_http://www.saratogaautomuseum.org/_ (http://www.saratogaautomuseum.org/)
or the larger , similar type Northeast auto museum at Norwich NY.
_http://www.classiccarmuseum.org/_ (http://www.classiccarmuseum.org/)
i hope the powers that be, will get the opportunity to investigate all
the possibilities , weighing ALL issues for a long healthy future of the
Corvair display/s.
i have this personal view of the Norwich facility , after several visits
watching how they do things.the focus there is air cooled Franklins, with an
open eye on the future of the displays. the guides there are volunteers ,
MOST of whom have very large personal stakes in this wonderful setup. the
board of directors there appear to know how to make good things happen ,
for the preservation of automotive history.
please check into it , if you can! you can get a slight idea of
what i mean by going to the websites.
hoping it somehow goes to the correct direction soon.........
regards, tim colson
