Canadian built cars had no letters in the VIN?????

US built (LM) cars have 13 characters to the VIN, with the center character 
being a letter (not a number) which indicates the plant where the car was 
built.  Also the model year is the # right in front of that letter.  The 
explanation of the VIN decoding provided in the eBay sale does not match 
that formula, so someone who is familiar with Canadian VINs can probably 
provide further info on that.


But, to stay more on topic...  I'd be happy to help in whatever way needed 
to see the database of all known existing Corvairs (and scraped ones as 
well) come to fruition.

For those familiar with "Icemobile", it went to the scrapper just last week. 
It was a FUN car!
