Reminds me of the time in the 70s when I was driving in west Texas south of
Fort Stockton down to help in the startup of our new natural gas
purification plant in the "middle of nowhere" Compared to the East Coast, that
place was a barren wilderness. I drove for many miles without seeing another
living human being! And that was way before cell phones, so if the rental
car broke down I could be there a LONG before anybody passed by. But those
days I was young and immortal (not like today!!) so I never worried about
it.<GGG>

Sounds enticing - I may get to try it out this summer, as Trevor is going
from here (Northern Virginia) to Phoenix to go to ASU. One of his friends
may do the trip with him, but if not it looks like I'm going. I may be
looking for places to stay in mid-August :-)

over 300 miles, on a great interstate Hwy,across our state many times, in
broad daylight, and not seen another dozen vehicles all the way. What a
great place to open up whatever you're driving. We don't know what traffic is
out here.
