i remember a few distributor housings with that protrusion on the bottom on either Vega or some of the GM marine motors. i had some new replacement Delco housings given to me a long time ago that i did use to replace worn ones on corvairs. this would also explain the lack of numbers on the housings?. regards, Tim Colson
