<VV> firing order

firing order is stamped on engine shroud, but that does't answer if it is CW
or CCW, or am I missing something totally obvious? My mechanic (whose main
qualification is that he has a shade tree with oil on the ground) swears it is
CCW. Does distributor postion in all this mater?   RE: the speeding ticket,
here in texas the ticket can be $500 or more, but at least they let you make
payments over a 4 year cplan.
