Absolute statement are a good way to get in trouble. Obviously, you don't know the right autocrossers.

I hope you're not refering to some autocrossers I think you know, me, Smitty, Hubble, Bryan?

Not from my experience.  I know several autocrossers and they all drive like 
ackasses on the street.
The road is not a race course (unless of course it's been closed to the public 
o that it can be).
