<VV> whitewalls

An interesting study in taste, fads, and style.

 

Today I don't think you can buy a new car with whitewalls. And the cars look
just fine. Put whitewall on a new car, and it would look silly. But whites
on an old car look grand. When did we see the decline of the use of
whitewalls? 70's? 80's?

 

Blackwalls on a Corvair makes it look like a stripper...like in entry-level.
