<VV> Mismatched heads

Wow, sounds like  100hp Corvair <ggg>.  I saw a 125 hp Corvair once, it had
a 140 head on one bank and a 110 on the other.

I recently purchased an early model corvair engine with the serial #
toi25yn. I 
noticed that one of the heads has the serial number of a 102 h.p. while the 
other is a 98 h.p. head. My question is whether these heads can be used with
