1966 Corviar 140 4sp Monza Convetible Red with Red Interior

I purchased the car in the winter of 1992. I believe it was sold new
in San Jose Ca. It was sold to someone in Vernallis, Ca and then to
Holton Automotive in Patterson, Ca. At least it was owned by Harry
Holton's son. Harry is a well known MOPAR drag racer. Car had 42,000
actual miles, new top, carpet and upholstery. I had the car painted in
1993. Did a complete brake job including new wheel cylinders with
Kevlar linings. Rebuilt shift tube with Clarks bronze bushings. Quick
steering arms. Installed new gas shocks. In 2002 I put together
another 140 engine using CL 77 bearings, moly rings and bronze valve
guides with stainless steel valves. Installed Keith Black pistons. The
cam is a "Yenko" spec new billet by Sig Erson. I had picked up this
cam many years ago. Compression ratio is, I believe, 9.5:1.Replaced
all valve seats. Headers with custom dual exhaust. Stock Rochester
carbs that are bored to 1 3/16 venturi with 1.5 inch throttle
bores. The 4 primary carbs have idle circuits with "extended" venturi
clusters on the two "primary" carbs. Electric fuel pump and large
canister filter in secure compartment in trunk. Fuel pressure
regulator, vent tubes in carbs (no turn cut out problems). Dual
crankcase vents, one to each primary carb. Everything is balanced with
bolted flywheel. Complete rebuilt suspension and steering box. Battery
in battery box in trunk. Have put approx. 20,000 miles on car since
purchase. In 2004 replaced Keith Black pistons with TRW forged
including new rod bearings, resized rods, bored cylinders, moly rings.
Since suspension and basic engine rebuild in 2002 have put on about
2,000 miles. Since "second” engine rebuild have added another 1,000
miles. Since 2002 car has been driven only to local automotive events.
Always garaged. Car cover used extensively if parked outside. Paint is
showing age, looks good from ten plus feet away. Gauges include: VDO
7,000 RPM Tach, Westach dual cylinder head temp., oil pressure, dual
amp/volt. Interior in very good condition. White manual top in good
condition. Wheels are 15X7 Camaro with longer lug studs for safety.
Stock 4 speed with non-posi, 3.55:1 differential. Tires are near new
BFG G Force Sport 225x50-15. Pictures available.

 Selling price $8950/offer.
