<VV> VV - 4th Parade

     Audrey & I Drove our '63 Greenbrier in yesterday's parade at Lake City's "Greatest Fourth in the North".  We got no official awards.  (There never are for individual cars.)  But, from the crowd of thousands, we received MANY favorable comments, thumbs up, oooos and aaaahs, and questions about what year.  There were even some people who commented that it should have flowers painted on the sides.  I guess there's no accounting for good taste.
     I think the best comment I heard was from a kid of about 12 or so.  He said, "That's the kind of van I want!  That's what I want my van to look like!"  Can't get a much better vote of confidence than that.
