Set the parking brake; make sure there's nothing in front of the car.
Depress the clutch with the tranny in 4th gear, and crank the engine. Should
break free.

Subject: <VV> stuck clutch plate

Hi everyone,

After many years of not using I thought that I will take out my '62 sedan
with 110 motor and manual tranny. The car was in good working condition
when I stopped using it. The car started easily, The problem is I could not
get it into gear. With the motor not running all gears shift easily. I feel
that that the clutch plate is stuck to the flywheel. Short of taking the
motor and tranny apart is there any way to release the clutch plate. Any
suggestions?

Thanks.
