BTW we are in the process of finding "school cars" for our two daughters in college and giving strong consideration to the Caviler/Cobalt. This is because of their safety rating and the reliability of the Ecotech drive train.

The Cobalt was the follow on from the Caviler. It lasted four or five years and
as replaced by the Cruze last year. I think the Cruze is a great car and well
hought out. The Colbalt was very successful in terms of sales.

Are you sure it was a Cobalt? If so, this ISN'T the "new" GM. Chevy's current,
quivalent car is the Cruze. I've not driven one but the enthusiast magazines
e saying it's light years ahead of the Cobalt. I HAVE, some time ago, driven
Cobalt and agree with your assessment but, in all fairness, the new GM should
judged by the Cruze, not the Cobalt. Not that I have a dog in this fight
ther than as a U.S. taxpayer <GG>).

My wife was rear ended recently and the need arose to rent a car. We got a
evy Cobalt. They got it
ck in 2 days.
