<VV> Thanks Cliff!!

I like to emphasize the friendliness of the Corvair community and VV is a big part of that. This is where I met Cliff Tibbitts. Anyhow, he drove his beautiful Corsa to the Performance Workshop a few weeks ago. I 
was checking the cat over and I noticed his seat belts, a aftermarket shoulder/lap belt. I tracked him down to ask about the belts. He threw me the keys and told me to take it for a spin. Well I didn't but I did "try on" his seat belts. They were fantastic! See my 65 coupe also has a shoulder belt that I installed. The roof pivot is right up on the ceiling and that geometry puts the belt too much onto my neck. Cliff's belt has an offset of about 7 or 8 inches of that pivot. That geometry moves the belt out more on to my shoulder. The result is real comfort and safety. So thanks Cliff!

PS you can get the same seat belts at Wesco (http://wescoperformance.stores.yahoo.net/seatbelts.html) just make sure you install them properly.
