<VV> '63 transaxle into a '64

One question - why? There is no shortage of '64 transaxles, and you're
looking at a lot of work to either make it work with the '64 suspension, or
swap the springs out to a '60-'63 setup.

That said, I removed the transverse spring from my '64 Spyder convert long
ago when I switched over to '63 heavy-duty convertible springs along with
the standard '64 front bar. The '63 HD springs gave it a nice, reasonable,
negative camber, and balanced out the understeer that was designed into the
'64 stock setup. It is a great handling setup, supported by the full trophy
shelf from years of local F-stock solo-2 competition. I have a great home
movie taken by a friend of a run on the short course from the NE regional
championships many years ago that really shows what one of these can do when
setup well. Have to convert it and put it up on 'tube sometime.
