So far I have not seen the obvious problem causing the engine to stall...Carb Icing! This has happened to me with Corvair FC's so up in the cooler air and hi-speed air flow the carb may not get heat and ice up at part throttle. This happens when the humidity is high and the temperature is close to the freezing point. Clark Hartzel
