Hi Carlton.

I am going on three years and 15,000 miles and my rear er, ah, viton bellhousing main seal is still taking care of a problem I had. I had a drip that drove me nuts. I use 10W 30 Mobil synthetic. Maybe it is an undersized crank seal area or some extra oil pressure?

Yes, on my '62 Monza Wagon with 4 speed. After driving it leaks out the size of a baseball from the bell housing. I am getting ready to "redo" the job. What are you calling the main seals (bell housing, at the crankshaft pulley, or?)?. I'll post my findings and hopefully positive results soon.
