<VV> Intent or Not

I know this thread is getting rather long for minimal Corvair content, so I'll drop out after this one last remark. I'm not against cops, I have good friends who are good ones. I just hate it when bad or sloppy/lazy ones get away with something, especially when I'm the victim.

In the incident I mentioned earlier, I pointed out to the officer several times before AND after he'd written the ticket that I thought he had stopped the wrong driver. He blandly said, "No, I got the one I wanted." When we got to court, I tried every way I knew how to get him to say the same thing before the woman judge, but he wouldn't do it. I also wanted to ask the judge why, if we were both under oath, she believed him and not me; but I figured I already knew the answer to that one, so I let it slide.

As for other offenses, yes, I've gotten away with a few. I've never had my license suspended or revoked, but my insurance went up for a while when I was younger and, perhaps, more foolish, because of too many points. I mentioned once before on here about "pegging the needle" on my Mazda RX7 one night. I'm sure I'd have paid dearly for that one, had a hidden radar gun happened to be around somewhere. I doubt they'd just turn me loose for doing 130+ on public highways.
