<VV> Winter Tires

Snow tires were great on ice in Minnesota during the '70's before we had to pull the studs out of them. The new Winter tires are made of material that adapts to the cold but melts in the heat. Regular tires become rock hard in the winter. I have four Michelin X Ice X I2 to put on my 1990 Crown VIc for this coming KS winter. With all season tires last winter, it was like driving a sled.
