<VV> 63 Spyder question

Did I tell you at the DACC that black was correct? I still think that is
true.
My 63 air box is black from the factory.

Hi all,  I was sure that 63 Spyders had a chrome air cleaner housing and
that only 62's had the painted black one, but someone at the DACC
Homecoming told me that the black one was correct on a 63.  So what is the
deal here?
